The Institute of Space Sciences (ICE-CSIC) informs about the use of cookies on its website.

In order to promote social media, cookies from Twitter and YouTube are being used, so that our visitors may follow us on those networks. Contents of Twitter and Youtube are embedded on the homepage.

What types of cookies does this website use?

Privacy
The collection and automated processing of personal data collected through this website is intended to manage the service requested by the user as well as the follow-up of queries raised. The legal basis of the treatment is the consent of the affected party and its need for the development of the functions and public missions of ICE, which is responsible for the treatment. It is not possible to make a forecast of the periods of deletion that will be based on the assumption and service requested.
The regulations require that the inventory of treatment activities be made public by electronic means. The Transparency section of this website contains the CSIC’s Registry of Processing Activities (RAT). Through the links indicated in the aforementioned section, you can access the RATs corresponding to the central organization of the CSIC and those corresponding to the Centers and Institutes of the CSIC that specify, for each treatment, the identity of the person in charge, the legal basis, purposes of the treatment, category of data, provisions for deletion as well as the general description of the technical and organizational security measures.
In accordance with Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD), the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) and concordant legislation, ICE is committed to compliance of the obligation of secrecy with respect to personal data and the duty to treat them confidentially after carrying out the corresponding risk analysis, especially, in accordance with the first additional provision of the LOPDGDD, the corresponding security measures of those provided for in the National Security Scheme necessary to prevent its alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access.

ICE reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy to adapt it to new legislation, jurisprudence or interpretation of the Spanish Agency for Data Protection. Applicable law and jurisdiction
